Foodography.

My husband cringes when we are getting ready to go out and he sees my shove my huge camera into my purse.  I don't care; I do it anyway.  My excuse...we'll need these pictures to remind us of where we were when we are old and senile.
Really though...it's to snap pics of the amazing food we are about to eat.
Shhh...

I have A LOT of food photos, but still wish I had more.   I wish I had a picture of each of the 7 courses that my bestie and I shared a few years back.  It was an amazing dinner. We swore we had "food related injuries" as we rolled out of the restaurant.
Eating is a contact sport, right?
I did get a second chance though.  A year later we celebrated my birthday at Cafe Dupont, and I was able (to my husband's chagrin) to photograph each person's entree.
So, if you are eating the same old sack lunch right now or have no idea what's for dinner, feast your eyes on some gorgeous food.
Warning::  You may need a bib!!

Halibut with a beautiful Roasted Beet and Pomegranate Sauce.

Pan Seared Scallops with Grilled Eggplant and Grits.
So Southern.
If you don't see grits on the menu, you must have traveled a bit too far North.

The birthday girl's entree::
Perfectly cooked Lamb with a Spicy Polenta Cake and Grilled Asparagus.
